dear OPs of EL PUTERA, or enam lima putera,
we, as small group gathering, came together as part of the post OP Ahmad Ahmad Bin Abdullah recent wedding. AA hosted us in his home.
the goal: to plan and organize the EL PUTERA 50TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2015....
some agreed standards as we pursue the GOAL:
--it is a big one time last event for all to come
--that we do it well and have some good times together
--that we grow a new appreciation of the other after 50 years
--that we come with spouses
--that we help all to come and attend regardless of their situation in life
--that it be held with an overnight stay so we can spend good times together and meeting all who come

premised upon the above, we also agreed to the following:
--that we all are in the organizing committee
---that OP Ahmad Ghuzal Tahir will search out information for a weekend at Lumut, with an overnight stay at a friendly hotel, and some activities at OBS and a cruise around Pangkor Island
---that we will all meet again before fasting month at OP Talib Yatim house next
---the dates next year will be sometime between may and july but after Raya, but subject to hotel, OBS, and other arrangements
by next meeting; all details will be finalized and we can start informing all, especially those overseas or out of town so th planning and saving for the event can start.
if we do it very well, we would have a take away of the following:
---have launched an EL PUTERA FOUNDATION of some sort....details to be thought through
---a book (like the Whose Where but focused on one page per OP for stories about the last 50 years of life)
Others at the meeting were OP Amir Nordin, OP Abdul Latif Adlin, OP Zainal Abidin Din, OP Khalid Kadir, OP Kj John, OP Talib Yatim, and host OP Ahmad Abdullah some signifincantly missing others were OP Abdul Rashid Ab.Rahiman, OP Hanifah Yoong Yin Fah, OP Zainal Bin Yan
please pass the word around, and please inform all others in the EL PUTERA intake.................
this is simply my voluntary record of what we talked about............also, not sure why some names do not come up when i type them although they are on FB, eg. Talib Yatim
others more able can develop or build this list to include all in our batch...........after all our is a closed group started by hj latif adlin and rashid, i think.
